Marketing/Sales Communications Assistant

WorkWise, Inc. seeks a proactive, energetic marketing/sales assistant to support marketing efforts, focusing on communications with our customers, business partners and internal sales department. This is a great entry-level, full-time position in the exciting software industry for the right individual to become a key contributor in a successful and rapidly growing company, with long-term opportunities for success:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management and coordination of sales and marketing activities including web events, trade shows, regional seminars, user group meetings and conferences
  • Review web content, update & select images for website – interface with IT to coordinate updates, edits and enhancements • Proofread all marketing materials with special regard to branding & name brand recognition
  • Assist in the publication of both online and offline collaterals coordinating with printers, designers and outside vendors as needed
  • Assist in various marketing campaigns including telemarketing, mailings/emails, lead tracking and list management utilizing numerous software applications and processes
  • Interface with Sales and Marketing Management on promotion planning, execution and roll-out.
  • Assist in advertising, public relations, print and digital media as needed
  • Assist Sales Team with proposal/contract generation
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current WorkWise products and convey information to customers and partners which may include product availability, pricing etc.
  • Assist in development of presentation materials
  • Update and maintain customer account files
  • Assist with customer newsletter
  • Order and maintain company promotional products
  • Provide additional administrative duties and participate in special projects as required

  • Demonstrate professionalism and good judgment in performing responsibilities and interacting with customers, partners and team members
  • Able to produce, handle and track several projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Detail and Process oriented, able to produce work that is accurate and has consistent messaging
  • Must have excellent and creative writing skills
  • Working knowledge of graphic design and web site design software such as, FrontPage, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator etc. and HTML and Web skills is an advantage
  • Experience with Internet, e-mail marketing and other web-based media a definite plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook knowledge required
  • College degree preferably in the area of Marketing and 1-2 years of relevant admin and/or marketing support are required.
