  • TCM Architecture and Technical Direction   
    • Learn about the future development plans for the TCM product line.  This session will concentrate on the TCM product from a technical and functional perspective and our plans for enhancements both today and into the future.  Learn how WorkWise and the TCM product plan to be your partner for many years to come . This presentation will include an overview of the technical architecture of TCM.  Geared for the techies in the audience who want to understand how the whole thing comes together, from client, to server, to database.  Bring a keen interest in technology - or a fresh cup of coffee.

  • TCM Database Administration (SQL)  
    • Learn about the data maintenance plans, using the services provided by Microsoft SQL Server, to keep your TCM database healthy and in tip-top shape.

  • Introduction to SQL Programming with SQL Server Management Studio
    • The introduction of SQL as the foundation of TCM opens up a whole new realm of possibilities.  In this session, we will explore the basics of SQL 2005 through the eyes of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.  Using the TCM SQL database, we will demonstrate how to access data, create new queries, relate tables together and show you new ways to look at the information about your business.  If you work with Crystal Reports, knowing the SQL structures through Management Studio can make prototyping and creating new reports much easier.

  • Introduction to Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
    • This valuable tool comes free with Microsoft SQL Server 2005.  Similar to Crystal Reports, but the interface is quite a bit different.  SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) will start popping up in places of TCM as part of the standard functionality in upcoming releases.  We will explore what it takes to leverage this tool for your business, and tailor it to your specific business needs.

  • “Tech Talk” - The Top 10 Technical Questions and Open Discussion
    • Meet members of the WorkWise R&D Staff.  In this session, we’ll discuss the Top 10 Technical questions that come up frequently, as well have an open Question/Answer session with members of the R&D team from the US and Shanghai.

  • Selecting Hardware 
    • No, we’re not talking about Metric vs SAE!  This is a discussion of the hardware and operating system requirements for TCM.  While it sounds a little dry at first glance, we promise that it will worth your while to attend.  We will discuss major industry trends, and what they mean to your bottom line.  We will discuss the “why” behind some of the new requirement for TCM, and how you should plan your future hardware purchases, to help you make “smart” purchases that will have a longer life with TCM and other products.

    • No one wants to hear about this.  But disasters strike in different ways.  We will have information on some of the basics you should know and understand to protect your business against data loss.  We will also discuss the different kinds of backup for SQL data, new to TCM and TCM users.
