Crystal Reports Introduction Workshop

This class consists of 4 total 2-hour Webex sessions conducted over a 2 week period, and includes an 87 page manual(pdf):

Session 1- December 1st: 8:30 – 9:30AM: Report Preparation, Report Wizard, Basic Formatting lecture. This is followed by a 1 hour workshop for each customer to practice with instructor before the next session.
Session 2- December 3rd: 8:30 – 9:30AM: Linking Tables, Grouping, Formula’s. This is followed by a 1 hour workshop for each customer to practice with instructor before the next session.
Session 3- December 8th: 8:30 – 9:30AM: Drilldown, Section Formatting, Highlighting. This is followed by a 1 hour workshop for each customer to practice with instructor before the next session.
Session 4- December 10th: 8:30 – 9:30AM: Record Selection, Parameters, Sorting, Printing and Exporting. This is followed by a 1 hour workshop for each customer to practice with instructor before the end of the week.

Notes:

There will be homework exercises assigned. Students are encouraged to work on their own report projects with instructor assistance.
Each session will be recorded and available on the internet within 24 hours.
The class can be offered to any TCM customer on Version 7.0 using Crystal Reports V9.0 through TCM V9.X using Crystal Reports XI R2.
There will also be an SSRS class coming soon in a similar format!

Prerequisites:

Each student or the computer used for the workshop must have a DSN(Data Source Name) connecting through ODBC to the database. The preference is that the customer uses a Test company(A recent copy of their Live company) for the workshops. The instructor will be using a local database for the presentation phase.
The proper version of Crystal either V9.0 or XI R2 depending on their TCM version.

**Can also be offered to and customized for any customer at any time. Contact Bill Kautz for dates and quote.

All students will attend the 2 large-group morning sessions. Then they will be split into small work groups, and will be scheduled for one follow-up workshop practice to follow the morning class.

All sessions will be recorded for students to review afterward. Each breakout session will be made available to all students so they can learn from one another. Each student will end class with one or more of their customized queries completed and ready to use. Students should submit their custom-query requests to WorkWise 1 week before class. Pricing is $250/person, minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 attendees.
