Agenda

Day One - Information Flow
Focus: General Overview of all TCM applications. This session will cover the interaction between TCM modules. Each application will be discussed, including required data and how information is passed between TCM applications.

Day Two - Planning
Focus: Inventory Management. This class will cover various methods of anticipating inventory usage, i.e. reorder point logic and projected inventory reports. Material requirements planning, Master production scheduling, and rough cut capacity planning, will also be discussed. The class will analyze information flow from these tools through the review file to actual production orders.

Day Three - Supply Chain
Focus: Customer Order processing. This class will cover how other TCM applications support Customer Order Processing with emphasis on shop floor control and purchasing.

Day Four - Costing
Focus: Standard and Job Costing. This class will cover how standard costs are developed, what is required for accurate job costing, how different material costs can be accumulated, how burdens can be assigned, and where to obtain labor costs.

Day Five - Financials
Focus: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger. The session will cover the highlights of these packages and how they interact with one another.
