TCM eBiz Order Desk (B2B) is built on a business-to-business model allowing orders to be placed via the web and accepted into TCM.

  • All users are assigned a login ID and password using a common shopping-cart approach
  • Customers can order your products from your web site by supplying a purchase order number
  • These orders are imported into TCM Customer Order Processing to create the order and once accepted, an order confirmation is emailed to the buyer
  • Your customers and Sales Representatives, if authorized, can check order status and inventory information
  • Marketing information and graphics can easily be added to the web product listing

TCM’s eBiz Base Portal allows you to provide online access to important TCM Data via your intranet or the internet. This allows you to communicate much more effectively with your employees, customers and business partners, providing secure access to the information they need, whenever they need it!

With the available optional modules you can publish an online catalog of you products with Graphical Interfaces! You can allow your customers to use Credit Cards for sales, publish Vendor specific information and much, much more!

For example, you can set Password security to your intranet database, allowing you to safely share information with logged in users. Data can be filtered by password and category so that users see only the information you want them to see. Category menu structures are provided to support dynamic access to information.

A wide variety of TCM data is available for use with eBiz Base Portal including Customer Master, Sales History, A/R Open, Open Orders, Item Master, Current Inventory, Vendor Master, Preferred Vendor Items, Purchase Orders, and Shop Orders. You control how much to offer, and to who!

eBiz uses role-based user logins to control access to information. For example, you can establish logins for Manufacturing, accounting, sales (by Sales Rep #), human resources (by badge #), engineering, customer, administrator or Content Manager. These log in IDs would only see and access the data that is appropriate for their role in your organization.

Finally, you can increase the power of your eBiz Base Portal by implementing one of these additional TCM modules:

eBiz MarketPlace Portal: Allows you to conduct general public web sales.

eBiz Customer Sales Portal: Provides online sales to your existing customers.

eBiz Base Portal as Intranet

Here’s an example of the eBiz portal. In this case, it’s providing an intranet for WorkWise employees. The entire look and feel are customizable, and users have role-based access.

This Intranet provides a secure way to collaborate with customers, suppliers, and employees.

Reports

eBiz provides a complete set of secured Crystal Reports. Here’s a a Customer List report. The list of customers is displayed on the left side, while details are displayed for any selected item to the right. We selected customer 10100 to display details.

Online Store

Conducting business online is easy! Choose from several optional levels of eCommerce. This example shows an online store, with a catalog of items, item numbers and images and shopping carts to make purchasing your products convenient. This data is shared with other TCM applications, such as Inventory Management so reentry of information is minimized.

eBiz is Interfaced with TCM Data!

eBiz makes ordering convenient for your customers and employees! Because eBiz is interfaced with TCM Customer Data, it’s possible to display customer information automatically. Your customers can override anything they like, but the bulk of the content is already there. This also reduces errors, ensuring that orders are addressed and shipped accurately.

Invoices are presented for review prior to order completion and billing. Submitted ordered are transmitted directly into TCM’s applications.
