The PSI Planner is a Supply Chain Planning system with fully integrated Sales Forecasting, Distribution, Material Requirements Planning and Master Production Scheduling modules.

  • Password restricted access to specific modules and functionality
  • -Import and export of ASCII flat file, HTML and ODBC interface files
  • -Multiple forecast methods such as linear regression, moving average,  weighted moving average and percentage change
  •  -Ability to aggregate item-location forecasts by various key fields (item, location, class, etc.) and then prorate back to the item-location level
  •  -Available-To-Promise (ATP) view  and exception report in DRP module
  • -DRP report “expedite/de-expedite” option
  • -Production-Sales-Inventory (PSI) view at various levels of summarization  (ex: by item for all locations; by location for all items)
  • -Web enabled Forecast and DRP/MRP modules (with MS-SQL Server® database option for Web Access module ODBC connection
  • -Forecast Variance Reporting system
  • -Separate fields for statistical forecasts and management adjustments
  • -Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) calculation feature

The DRP/MROP Module features:

  • -Choice of safety stock criteria (safety time vs. safety stock)
  • -Time-phased replenishment where customer orders “consume” forecasts while considering lead times and safety stock to facilitate planning vs. reacting
  • -Safety time and lead time can be set globally by ABC code (nationally or by location) or by individual item-location (SKU)
  • -Daily, weekly or monthly planning buckets
  • -“Click” on icons to see customer order, inventory and transfer detail
  • -Bill of Materials capability to explode material and component needs from finished goods requirements
  • -Firm Planned Orders
  • -Frozen Planning Window

The MPS module features:


  • -Plant or Market zone aggregation and reporting of item specific  Production, Sales and Inventory data Work centers within manufacturing sites for “rough cut”  production planning
